AR-RAHEEM

Allah calls Himself Ar-Raheem. Raheem is also derived from the root "ر-ح-م" (r-h-m), which is related to mercy and compassion. In Arabic, Raheem takes the form of "faʿeel," which is an ism fa'il (a noun denoting the doer of an action) meaning it describes something that is doing the action continuous,non-stop or ever in this case giving mercy/being merciful to others. It highlights the action, For Allah, this term signifies mercy to the utmost degree and compassion towards His creation.”

The Prophet said to us, “Do you think this woman could throw her child in the fire?” We said, “No, not if she is able to stop it.” The Prophet said, “Allah is more merciful to His servants than a mother is to her child.
